Here are some common questions about this whole setup.
Odoo is still Odoo, not renamed to Dorian. Open source distribution of Odoo covers roughly 80% of the needs of a, say, fresh startup. Dorian is a version codename for a set of expansions and modifications covering the missing 20%. If you're a jazz geek, you know what will be the name of the next feature package.
Odoo Enterprise uses pricing model of 30 € / user / month, so system for 5 users costs 1800 € in a year. In case multiple companies will be hosted inside one istance, the annual cost doubles. And you still have to pay extra for designs, integrations and such.
Odoo + Dorian has a simple flat 3500 € price for the equal set of features, unlimited users and companies. The price includes wide array of customisations and integrations to match your company's needs. Only recurring cost is VPS, typically around 15 € / month.
First of all, Odoo is best suited for companies with multiple employees, an extensive active partner network or a need to interact with the public. For simple static websites or straightforward online stores, there are plenty of lighter alternatives available.
